Premier Restaurants Malta Ltd is currently looking to recruit an IT Support Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
Premier Restaurants Malta, the operator of nine McDonald’s restaurants across the Maltese islands, is seeking to recruit a full-time IT Support Officer.
Based in Malta and reporting to the Director of IT, the IT Support Officer will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the business’s IT systems and infrastructure. The role involves responding to user inquiries, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and maintaining IT equipment and software. The selected candidate will also be assisting the IT Department in any IT-related projects that may arise from time to time.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science or have at least one year’s experience in a similar role. A good background in hardware, software, networking and operating systems and familiarity with help desk software and remote support tools are required. Basic scripting and programming skills will be considered as an asset. The candidate should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-focused attitude. A valid driving licence and willingness to work out of office hours when necessary is also required.
