Credit Control Clerk

Our client in the automotive sector, forming part of a larger group, is looking for a Credit Control Clerk to join their accounting team, reporting to the the Consumer Finance Senior Executive.

Responsibilities:

• Review customer profiles for hire purchase approvals and prepare documentation for internal and bank approvals.
• Liaise with the bank and the Consumer Finance Senior Executive regarding declined or disputed debtors.
• Coordinate with the sales team and administration for any required documentation or feedback.
• Process and issue Bills of Exchange and finance agreements.
• Assist customers with balance and payment-related queries via phone.
• Process cancellation letters for settled deals.
• Process and allocate online payments.
• Perform other tasks as required.

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in an administration or finance-related role.
• Ideally, possess an O-Level qualification in Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft desktop operating systems and Office applications.
• Strong command of both Maltese and English.
• Clean police conduct
• Ability to effectively use IT systems.
