Junior Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior technician to join our dynamic IT team. If you are passionate about technology related to IT and telecommunications industry, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and test telecommunications equipment, such as PABXs, and VoIP systems.

• Run and terminate various types of cables including fibre optic.

• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues related to telecommunications systems.

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.

• Respond promptly to service calls and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Train customers on system usage, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

• Prepare detailed reports on work performed, including any issues encountered and solutions implemented.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of telecom infrastructure.

• Understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting.

• Experience in data and voice cabling installation and troubleshooting.

• Customer-oriented approach with excellent communication abilities.

• Be a strong team player and self-motivated

• Demonstrate the ability to work in an organised manner, proactively and with minimal supervision

• Have good communication skills in Maltese and English

• Comfortable working at heights and in confined space.

• In possession of a clean conduct and driving license
