Head of Operations

Our client is a strong and upcoming company operating in the oil and gas industry.  As they are growing, they would like to engage an Head of Operations to join their team

The Role

• You will lead the whole operations of the company and report into the General Manager
• You will improve processes to create efficiencies and increasing productivity
• You will also manage the IT function, Logistics & Technical Project Management
• Ensure that resource allocation is optimal and that equipment and facilities are geared towards attaining agreed company goals
• Manage operational budgets
• Build a highly efficient operational team
• Ensure that quality assurance is on the top of the agenda for daily/ ongoing processes
• Implement the necessary quality measures along all process
• Manage the whole supply chain operation including procurement, logistics whilst ensuring a cost effective process
• Create strong collaborations with stakeholders and 3rd part suppliers
• Implement risk protocols to minimise risks 
• Fully contribute to the overall strategic planning
• Create operational KPI's, effectively communicate them and ensure adherence
• Leading the implementation of the new ERP system
• You will have stock management of all Global Warehouses
• You  will handle both the B2B and B2C operations
• You will be highly involved in product development and supply chain
• IT Infrastructure and Office Management all fall under the remit of this role

• Have a degree in Business Administration or Operations Management. A Masters degree is a plus
• Senior Operational Management experience with an international outlook
• Must have Supply Chain experience
• Excellent leadership skills
• Experience in process improvement methodologies Six sigma etc)
• Experience in project management
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
