Area Sales Executive (Leisure)

Job Description
Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Area Sales Executive (Leisure) to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and energetic Leisure Sales Manager for the Corinthia St George’s Bay Peninsula & Hotel Verdi. We are looking for someone with a can-do approach, attentive to detail, customer and people-focused, and an individual who is able to distinguish and relate to different characters and situations.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Compiling daily and monthly statistical reports
• Rooms availability monitoring •Inputting of rates and packages on PMS
• Continuous analysis of the online business demands, price sensitivity and booking patterns to anticipate trends so the correct business decision may be taken
• Maintains and manages all available sales channels in order to maximize revenues
• Regularly check distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning for the hotel
• Loads and maps rates/packages on Opera, OTAS, Extranets, GDS, Flash Sales and branded websites
• Monitor rates and availability on Opera, OTAS, Extranets, GDS, Consortia, Flash Sales and branded websites
• Monitor and update necessary information on Opera, OTAS, Extranets, GDS, Consortia, Flash Sales and branded websites
• Maintenance of SynXis and rate loading of packages & promotions.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be well-organized and meticulous
• Be fluent in written and spoken English and Maltese
• Possess exceptional IT skills in Opera and Excel
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Be highly motivated, eager to learn and able to work with minimum supervision
• Be well-groomed and maintain a professional appearance
• Knowledge of Opera Sales and Catering & Synxis will be considered an asset.
