Operations Manager

Our client, an international company distributing wellness products is recruiting for an Operations Executive to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the director, your duties will include;

• Efficiently allocating and overseeing resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations.
• Continuously analysing and enhancing operational processes for increased efficiency, waste reduction, and overall productivity improvement.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance, making data-driven decisions for ongoing improvement.
• Implementing and supervising quality control measures to uphold consistent product or service quality that meets or surpasses customer expectations.
• Developing and managing budgets for operational expenses, ensuring expenditures align with organizational goals and stay within allocated limits.
• Identifying potential operational risks, formulating strategies to mitigate them, and ensuring business continuity while minimizing disruptions.
• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to guarantee a reliable supply chain and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Promoting effective communication and collaboration among various departments to ensure alignment and a shared understanding of goals.
• Contributing to the creation of long-term operational strategies that align with the organization's overarching goals and growth plans.

• Experience in operations, team management, and process improvement is highly valuable.
• Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English, are important for conveying ideas, instructions, and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial
• The ability to adapt to new situations and manage time effectively is critical to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google sheets
• Currently based in Malta

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as business management, operations management, supply chain management, or a related discipline is often required.
