Managing Director

An exciting opportunity has come up for a Manging Director to form part of a reputable Company specialising in Financial and Corporate Services; The designated person will be reporting to the Board of Directors and duties are as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Propose specific development strategies to the board to expand and grow the business
• In charge of operational activities and execution of strategic goals as sanctioned by the board accountability with respect to performance across group companies
• Responsibility for the development, amendment and implementation of policies and procedures and ensures that these are locally executed in line with the group requirements
• Ensures compliance of regulated group companies
• Leading the office, inclusive of human resources and financials; management of group companies
• Incorporation, management and termination of Trusts, Foundation and Companies
• Establishment, management and termination of securitisation vehicles.

• Strategic planner with good organisational skills with experience in a similar role with a strong background in business management and financial services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Trained in company, trust and foundation law and securitisation, and ideally PQd by the MFSA
• High entrepreneurial thinking and pro-active, energetic, analytical and hands-on approach

• Bachelor’s or Master Degree in operational management or another business/ financial services related area
• STEP Diploma (or equivalent) would be an added value
