Malta Marriott Resort & Spa is currently looking to recruit a Night Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Description:
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Night Manager to join the Front Office Department of the Malta Marriott Resort & Spa, part of Marriott International and one of Malta’s leading 5-star hotels. Under the direction of the Front Office Manager, the Night Manager will oversee the operations of the hotel's end-of-day closure and supervise the night shift.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct the night audit process and check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
  • Verify that accurate room status counts are taken at the proper times and that the information is relayed to those concerned
  • Maintain continuous contact with Hotel Guests to ensure that any problems or guest challenges are quickly, efficiently and courteously
  • Ensure prompt, efficient and courteous reception of guests
  • Communicate and record complaints
  •  Assist in training new staff members, coach them and monitor their performance
  • Ensure the desk is covered at all times
  • Have full awareness of the current daily status of the Hotel
  • Ensure smooth handover to the morning shift.

Requirements:

  • Able to speak in English and another European language
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be able to address guests' needs and demands
  • Experience in hospitality or guest-facing positions will be considered an asset
  • Have an eye for detail and a smart appearance
  • Be a team player
  • Flexible with working hours including nights and weekends.
