DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is currently looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis (approx. 20 hours per week).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for credit card data input / bank commission statements to support credit card reconciliations
  • Supporting the Income Audit function in routine daily tasks
  • Supporting the Cashiering function
  • Supporting the Accounts Payable function: covering payment preparations and posting/checking of invoices through Material Controls and Accounting System
  • Support other sections within the Finance Team when required – Accounts Receivable (Invoicing to clients.)
  • Provide support in adhoc finance related project works as may be required from time to time.

To successfully fill this role, the expected team member is expected to maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Positive attitude
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Computer skills – be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on your own and also in teams
  • Excellent grooming standards.

 It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous related experience
  • A good knowledge of the Hospitality Industry.

Languages:

  • Good level of the English Language; both written and spoken
