Accounts Clerk

Food Chain Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

Food Chain Ltd operates 17 stores in total across Malta for Burger King, Pizza Hut and KFC. A vacancy has arisen within our Finance Department for an Accounts Clerk.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Posting of purchase invoices
• Reconciling supplier statement and preparing bank payments
• Sales reconciliation and inputting
• Preparation of bank reconciliation statements
• General Ledger Postings
• Filing of documents
• Generation of reports that may be required for management
• General administrative and accounting duties.

Educational and skill requirements:

• Have an 'O' level standard of education in accountancy
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Good eye for detail and organised
• Able to work alone and on own initiative as well as in a team
• Be flexible and have a practical approach
• Experience in a similar position will be considered an asset however training will be provided.
