Assistant Front Office Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team. 

Main Duties

• Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.

• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests, delivering exceptional customer service.

• Supervise and support front office staff, including receptionists, concierge, and bell staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and policies.

• Assist the Front Office Manager in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance throughout the reception and lobby area.

• Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of office supplies, including stationery and informational materials.

• Enforce compliance with company procedures for cash handling, credit, and checking processes.

• Follow up on guest comments and incidents during their stay, ensuring resolution and guest satisfaction.

• Act as the Duty Manager during assigned shifts, addressing urgent issues for guests and staff and ensuring seamless operations.

• Handle any ad hoc tasks or projects assigned by the Front Office Manager or senior management to support departmental goals and enhance guest experiences.

Requirements:

• Good management skills.

• Great interpersonal and communication skills.

• Previous experience within a similar position will be considered as asset.

• Experience of work within an all-inclusive hotel/resort will be considered an asset.
