Junior Accountant

Lidl in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Compensation Data:
Annual salary: starting from €24.362, overtime rates are not included in this salary, and everything is paid by the minute!

Summary:
We are now recruiting for a proactive and enthusiastic team player to join our Accounts Department.
The purpose and goals of this position are to diligently carry out duties of accounting.

What you'll do:

• Provide day-to-day support to the assistant manager accounts
• Carrying out day-to-day accounting duties
• Registration of invoices
• Carry out and assist in suppliers/other reconciliations
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
• Maintain suppliers’ master data.

What you'll need:

• In possession of AAT, or an Accounts A-Level, or previous work experience
• Excellent command of English both written and verbal
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and team-oriented
• Strong work ethic
• Meticulous attention to detail.
