What's expected of you?

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including performance comparison against budgets and forecasts, cost, margin, and profitability analysis
  • Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to create detailed budgets and regular forecasts
  • Provide variance analysis between actuals, budgets, and forecasts, explaining significant differences and updating financial models accordingly
  • Support strategic planning and long-term financial planning by offering insights, financial analysis, and risk management assessments
  • Develop financial models to evaluate the viability of new projects, investments, and business opportunities
  • Monitor production costs, operating expenses, and overheads, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
  • Implement and oversee cost control processes and procedures across the organization
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal controls, developing and enforcing accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist in audit preparation, ensuring timely compliance with audit requirements
  • Identify and implement enhancements to financial systems and processes for increased efficiency, including leading or participating in the implementation of new financial tools
  • Train staff on financial systems, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Party-qualified or fully qualified Accountant 
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar financial role, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Proficient in accounting software with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
