24/7 Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Service Call Centre (SCC)

 

We are looking for energetic but diligent IT professionals to join our Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Service Call Centre (SCC) working in a State-of-the-Art-Data Centre supported by Cloud Technologies within Malta’s leading Government ICT Agency – MITA.

 

Looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your technical expertise and work with cutting-edge technologies? 

Join our 24x7 Network Operations Centre (NOC), operating on a Day-Night-Rest-Off shift rotation, and develop expertise in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting Azure Cloud Services, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, as well as the Government's network infrastructure. As a valued member of our team, you will also take ownership of operational tasks, providing second-level assistance and operational technical support to internal teams and clients. You'll also have the opportunity to operate a Tier III Data Centre and stay up-to-date on the latest ICT technologies through ongoing training. 

 

Alternatively, you can also join MITA’s Service Call Centre (SCC) giving you the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team of IT professionals. As a member of our team, you'll provide exceptional technical IT customer service via phone, email, and chat, helping customers troubleshoot a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues. Your role will be critical in ensuring customer satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving IT-related problems. You'll also have the opportunity to stay up-to-date on the latest ICT technologies. Successful candidates must be fluent in both Maltese and English and will be employed on an indefinite term contract. 

 

Eligibility Requirements:

 

One of the following in an ICT area:

 

i) A qualification at MQF Level 5 OR higher; OR

ii) A qualification in a related area (MQF Level 4) AND 1 year’ experience in an ICT area; OR

iii) 2 years’ experience in an ICT area

 

Candidates may be offered the position as an Associate Level - Career Level 2; or the standard level Career Level 3 depending on competency level.

 

Fresh graduates may be offered an employment opportunity subject to the provision of final results. Training will be provided.
