IT Support Officer

Our client in the automotive sector, forming part of a larger group, is looking IT Support Officer to work with a wide range of technologies and collaborate across various business areas, providing support for incidents, issues, and requests.

Responsibilities:

• Documenting both new and existing system setups.
• Assisting in upgrading processes and systems.
• Helping create and follow defined processes for incident logging.
• Ensuring tasks are completed and resolved within agreed service levels, while identifying potential system improvements.
• Documenting technical issues and solutions for future reference.
• Tracking issues with vendors and service providers through to successful resolution.
• Providing feedback to continuously improve the incident tracking process and maintaining the company’s shared file system.
• After training, acting as the on-site application champion for ERP, CRM, and cloud-connected platforms.
• Managing the procurement and replacement of technology-related assets.
• Identifying systems that could enhance business operations and providing regular status updates to the IT Operations Manager.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by superiors.

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar technical role.
• IT qualifications at certificate or diploma level.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team, with limited supervision.
• Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with evolving technology.
• Proactive, team-oriented approach to work.
• Experience with Microsoft Office365 is desirable.
• Fluency in English

• A Diploma or a relevant IT Certificate would be preferred
