Junior IT Technician

Our client is looking to hire an enthusiastic, and self-driven Junior IT Technician & Procurement Assistant to join their dynamic team.

Your responsibilities:

• Analyzing complex problems and devising timely and effective solutions.
• Utilizing troubleshooting skills to swiftly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Adapting to evolving technologies and situations with ease and proficiency.
• Demonstrating clear and concise verbal and written communication to interact with users, translating technical jargon into understandable language.
• Documenting procedures, configurations, and issue resolutions comprehensively for organizational knowledge and improvement.
• Providing in-house training sessions to equip staff members with necessary skills and knowledge when required.
• Registering and meticulously managing records of academic, material, and IT resources within an inventory management system.
• Soliciting price quotations from suppliers, adhering to the guidelines outlined in the Procurement Policy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Windows Server.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Active Directory including user and group management, permissions, and group policies.

• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting peripherals like printers, scanners, and monitors.
