Our client is a local company focusing on a variety of services including printing solutions. They are looking to grow their Technical team and reporting to the Senior Technician, the IT Technician will be responsible for the following:
Upkeep of workshop and parts
Plan and organise visiting schedules with clients in an efficient manner to address any faults or repair of machines, commissioning and/or preventive maintenance
Monitor of cloud system regarding machine alerts and supplies and follow up where necessary
Manage repairs on office equipment the company offers and close the communication loop with clients
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
Maintain and document important information in order to follow the machine status and records
Manage incoming and outgoing emails for the Technical department and calls from clients
Attend regular meetings with the management and sales team, to support sales and also the service
Skill-sets and Requirements
Ability to multi-task
Meeting deadlines whilst giving feedback on progress
Have the ability to understand necessary paperwork and get it completed. This includes being able to use all computer programs associated with the information and forms that must be duly filled out.
Recommends changes in products and services by evaluating results and competitive developments
Proficiency in both Maltese and English is required
