IT Coordinator

The IT Coordinator is responsible for installing and maintaining all information technology systems and networks within the organization, while ensuring functionality and efficiency of computer and telecom systems by following the necessary protocols and providing technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all queries/issues are logged into the ticketing system.

• Provide technical support for systems and networks

• Act as a link between end user, higher level support and other departments.

• Install and configure software and hardware (laptops, workstations, printers, and other peripherals)

• Monitor system and network performance.

• Perform troubleshooting using the ISO/OSI model.

• Create user accounts groups, policies, and emails

• Provide technical support to the Group’s Point of Sales including all peripherals.

• Installing and maintaining hotel’s television system through a backend application

• Inspection of CCTV cameras, NVRS and DVRS.

• Installation and configuration of access points and network switches

• Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality

• Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment. 

• Setup of equipment for live events and private functions

Qualifications and Assets:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a comparable role

• Possession of a Higher Diploma in IT or equivalent

• Able to communicate effectively in a team environment

• Ability to prioritize tasks assigned based on importance and impact

• Very good problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office

• Understanding of protocols, IP addressing, subnetting and routing.

• Familiar with DHCP, DNS and Active Directory

• Possess a valid driving license and vehicle

• Attention to details and work unsupervised is a must

• Willingness to learn

• Composure under pressure
