Role Overview:
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of both SCAR and Paradise Bay Hotel. This role requires a self-motivated professional with prior experience, capable of operating independently while collaborating with our external IT partner, iLink, for advanced support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize hardware, software, and network systems across both locations.
2. Conduct regular system updates, data backups, and preventative maintenance.
3. Provide timely IT support and guidance to staff.
4. Liaise with iLink for complex IT issues and implement recommended solutions.
5. Manage IT inventory, vendor communication, and the procurement of relevant IT equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven IT experience (minimum 2+ years) in a similar role, demonstrating independence in handling diverse IT needs.
2. Strong understanding of network systems, hardware configurations, and software troubleshooting.
3. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide user-friendly support to non-technical staff.
