IT Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operation of daily IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to users and resolve IT issues efficiently.
• Install, configure, and update hardware and software systems.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.).
• Oversee data backup and security protocols to ensure safe information flow.
• Monitor system and application performance regularly and report findings.
• Collaborate on IT projects and contribute as a team player.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates with technical high school diplomas or relevant certification programs will also be considered.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in operating systems like Windows, Linux, or Mac OS.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, VPN, etc.).
• Familiarity with MS Office 365 tools and applications.
• Experience in hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
• Ability to work with IT support systems and ticketing tools.

Experience:

• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related field.
• Recent graduates with a passion for technology and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
