Assistant Storekeeper

Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Storekeeper to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented storekeeper to assist our Head Storekeeper with all the operations in our stores.

The Assistant Storekeeper is responsible for:

• Maintaining and updating records of dry goods, beverages, and stationery
• Stock rotation of food and beverage items stored
• Cross-checking goods received against purchase orders issued
• Ensuring adequate record keeping and managing all documentation to confirm correct stock levels and maintain inventory control
• Keeping stock updated and in an orderly manner.

Requirements:

• Have good verbal and written communication skills
• Be computer literate
• Have excellent organizational skills
• Be able to work under pressure and independently.

Previous experience in the Hotel industry will be considered an asset.
