Michele Peresso Group is mainly active in the retail market through its subsidiaries Eurosport Ltd., Europharma Ltd. and Michele Peresso Fashion Ltd. We are currently recruiting for the position of Assistant Stock Controller on a full-time basis.

The selected candidate will provide key support to the Group Stock Controller in managing and overseeing stock levels across all companies within the Michele Peresso Group. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure that stock control operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels across all locations. Track and report on stock movements to avoid discrepancies
  • Support the reconciliation of physical stock counts with inventory records, and assist in conducting regular stock audits to ensure accuracy
  • Input stock data into the system, generate regular stock reports, and assist the Group Stock Controller in analysing stock trends, identifying discrepancies, and making recommendations
  • Help in the development and implementation of stock control processes, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and best practices
  • Assist in monitoring stock loss, including pilferage or damage, and work closely with the Group Stock Controller to address and mitigate risks
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth and effective stock management across the organization
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements, returns, and transfers to ensure proper documentation is always available for audits and reporting
  • Help in planning and executing regular physical stock audits. Ensure that audits are completed within required timelines and assist in investigating any discrepancies found during the audit process
  • Perform any other tasks related to stock control as assigned by the Group Stock Controller.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Computer literacy with a strong proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • At least 1 year of experience working in inventory control, preferably in retail
  • Possession of driving license.
