The Malta Red Cross is seeking a dedicated and organized Ambulance Service Logistics Officer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • managing and coordinating the logistics of our ambulance services, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of personnel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Coordination: Oversee the booking and dispatch of ambulance services, ensuring timely and efficient response
  • Fleet Management: Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the ambulance fleet, coordinating repairs and servicing as needed
  • Operational Planning: Develop and implement logistics plans to optimize ambulance operations and resource allocation
  • Data Management: Utilize basic computer skills to maintain accurate records of fleet operations, dispatch activities, and other logistics data.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in both Maltese / English
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
