Heavy Vehicle Driver

We are currently seeking experienced and responsible Heavy Vehicle Drivers to join our supply chain logistics team. The role involves ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery of goods to various locations.

Applicants must be residing in Malta.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
• Deliver goods to customers according to schedules
• Load and unload cargo safely
• Record all cargo deliveries and maintain documentation
• Refuel, clean, and perform basic maintenance on vehicles
• Report any issues or updates to the dispatcher
• Operate the truck under loading hoppers to receive materials like sand, gravel, cement, and water, starting the mixer as necessary
• Ensure goods are safely secured during transport
• Maintain vehicle condition and adhere to servicing schedules
• Enforce safety procedures and standards to maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

Skills:

• Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
• Strong time management skills
• Proficiency in English (mandatory)
• Clean driving license Category “C”
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Requirements:

• Valid Category C driving license
