St Anthony Woodworks Ltd in Malta is currently seeking to recruit a CNC Machine Operator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc
  • Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc
  • Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
  • Set up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling
  • Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production
  • Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
  • Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
  • Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality
  • Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs
  • Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part
  • Ensure that the results of the machining process align with client expectations
  • Flexible Hours are important, therefore overtime will be given according to the job.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working on a CNC Machine in a similar manufacturing industry preferred
  • Daily jobs of operating machines with effective and accurate measures
  • Required to understand information and efficient use of the computer
  • Ability to use a computer/Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
