CNC Machine Operator
St Anthony Woodworks Ltd in Malta is currently seeking to recruit a CNC Machine Operator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc
- Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc
- Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
- Set up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling
- Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production
- Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
- Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality
- Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs
- Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part
- Ensure that the results of the machining process align with client expectations
- Flexible Hours are important, therefore overtime will be given according to the job.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working on a CNC Machine in a similar manufacturing industry preferred
- Daily jobs of operating machines with effective and accurate measures
- Required to understand information and efficient use of the computer
- Ability to use a computer/Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
