Installation Technician

Apco Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Installation Technician to join their team on a full-time basis.

OVERVIEW:
An opportunity has arisen for interested candidates to join APCO Limited as an Installation Technician.

THE POSITION:
Based in Malta and reporting to the Head of Operations, the selected candidate will be responsible for taking the lead in commissioning and diagnosing ELV and electrical control systems, including fire alarms, access control, intruder alarms, CCTV, and building management systems. The Installation Technician will also be responsible for the installation, alteration, and extension of wiring systems on-site at client premises and reading technical diagrams.

The role involves identifying and rectifying faults, whilst upholding high-quality standards, as well as collaborating closely with teams to ensure compliance with health and safety industry standards.

THE REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will possess experience in cable laying and installations. Knowledge of Low Voltage Systems (ELV) together with an aptitude for Networking and Operating Systems will be considered an asset.
Applicants must hold a valid, clean, driving license and be able to use basic hand tools, steps, and ladders. Possession of Electrical License A will be preferred.

The selected candidate will be customer-focused, proactive, attentive to detail and able to work effectively in a team environment.
