Provide day-to-day leadership to the B2C sales team (new and used) and the administration team to achieve sales targets.
Recruit and manage performance of the sales and administration teams, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Mentor and coach the sales team, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.
Coordinate product knowledge training for sales staff.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to align on vehicle promotional campaigns and provide feedback on product specifications, brochures, merchandise, showroom layout, and digital user experience.
Work closely with the Procurement department to manage stock orders based on customer demand and market trends.
Actively contribute to the digital transformation projects and GFMV committee.
Attend supplier meetings to stay informed about new products and market developments.
Achieve sales revenue and profitability targets; analyze sales, revenue, and management accounts reports to track performance against these targets.
Prepare and manage the annual budget.
Revise and implement sales commission structures to incentivize profitability.
Monitor trade-in valuations and manage reserved stock, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Evaluate internal efficiency at customer touchpoints, providing recommendations for process automation, optimization, and software management.
Analyze results from monthly sales experience mystery shopping; implement operational changes to achieve targeted customer satisfaction levels (e.g., NPS 80).
Ensure support for the sales team from other departments to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Handle customer complaint resolutions, ensuring the showroom meets company standards.
Oversee team timesheets, leave requests, and confirm commission payouts with the sales team.
Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and proper showroom start-up and shut-down procedures.
Communicate regularly with Sales, Call Centre, and Marketing teams about updates and offers.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Implement and oversee CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
Regularly report to senior management on sales performance and market insights.

Knowledge & Experience
Essential requirements:
Familiar with Microsoft desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
Sound Working knowledge of internal IT system
A clean police conduct
In depth technical Knowledge of the products
Knowledge of the industry
Minimum of 5 year experience in a senior business development role
Valid driving license
Passion for sales
Good command of both English and Maltese
Willingness to travel
