Community Pharmacy Sales Assistant

Job Description
Mint Health Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Community Pharmacy Sales Assistant to join their team on a full-time / reduced-hours basis.

Job Role:
An opportunity has arisen to join our team within our pharmacy in B’Kara. The chosen candidate will assist the Managing Pharmacist in the daily running of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers and ensuring their expectations and needs are being met at all times
• Inputting and filing delivery invoices and processing incoming goods
• Functions related to stock management such as pricing, shelf organisation, monitoring of expiry dates and stock taking
• Handling cash and compiling cash reconciliation
• Assisting the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medicines and with the management of clinics
• Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Be self-motivated, proactive and organised
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills 
• Be fluent in both Maltese and English
• Be computer literate and have numeracy skills
• Possess a charming personality with a passion for sales, providing excellent service at all times
• Be able to multitask in a busy community pharmacy environment
• Be committed to self-development
• Previous experience in similar roles will be considered an asset
• The selected candidate will be required to work afternoon shifts.
