Pre-Press Lead

One of the leading companies within the manufacturing industries is looking for Pre-Press Lead. 

• Achieve key process indicators: zero labor/material variance, 100% OTD, and < 2% NRFT.
• Maintain the ERP system and conduct stock takes as required.
• Manage inventory of Prepress-related components.
• Establish mechanisms to ensure timely and qualitative operational plan requirements are met.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to promote team integration and participation.
• Identify succession plans, training needs, and career development opportunities.
• Implement mechanisms to capture job processing variances for the End-of-Job quality document.
• Continuously develop and update standard operating procedures, FMEAs, and control plans, including retraining where necessary.
• Benchmark with other sites and key suppliers to stay updated on state-of-the-art technology and best practices.
• Understand and apply Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement principles, coaching the team in these tools.
• Act in compliance with company guidelines and policies, particularly those related to Environmental Health and Safety, ethics, and the code of business principles.
• Undertake additional duties as required to support business needs.

• Has Excellent level of Maltese and English. Both speaking and writing
• Very good working knowledge of an ERP system
• Excellent leadership and Communication Skills

• Obtains MCAST Higher Technician Diploma in Engineering or other Science subject.
