Mill Supervisor

The Mill Supervisor will assist the Production Manager and Control Room Operator with running the Mill efficiently.

Responsabilities:

• The Mill Supervisor is required to motivate and lead the feed mill employees, ensuring that the various stations are adequately manned, and supplied and that operations are in compliance with HACCP Quality programmes and Health and Safety programs.
• The Mill Supervisor will also supervise raw material intake, storage, blending, pelleting and packing while ensuring that safety protocols are followed throughout the processes.
• The Mill Supervisor will plan and organise and schedule cleaning, keep records of inventory, production and operations, liaise with other departments within the Mill and with suppliers and customers when necessary.  The Mill Supervisor is also expected to stand in for the Control Room Operator when necessary.
