bet365 in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Country Research and Performance Manager (UK and Ireland) to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

As a Country Research and Performance Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing commercial performance across key European territories, specifically the UK and Ireland.

You will be responsible for closely tracking a variety of commercial performance metrics across key European markets, with particular attention to the British and Irish markets, aiming to enhance overall performance through collaboration with stakeholders from various areas of the business. Leveraging both internal and external data sources, you will deliver actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making.

Additionally, you will oversee a team of remote Research Analysts, supporting the business by generating in-depth localised insights through research activities like competitor analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the gambling industry, possess a strategic mind-set, and be focused on driving continuous improvement.

This role may involve international travel to other bet365 offices.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong interest and understanding of the gambling industry, particularly within the British and Irish markets
  • Experience in monitoring and optimising commercial performance metrics within a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies aimed at enhancing commercial performance
  • Experience in using data-driven insights to inform business decisions and continuously improve outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with a capacity to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working across diverse teams, including commercial, research, and product development departments
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and influence decision-making
  • Experience managing remote teams with a focus on coaching and developing Research Analysts to deliver localised insights would be advantageous
  • Capacity to produce insightful reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Familiarity with analytical tools and platforms, with an understanding of how to leverage data to drive commercial outcomes
  • Proficiency in conducting competitor analysis, market research, and commercial forecasting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the monitoring and analysis of commercial performance metrics across multiple European markets, specifically covering the UK and Ireland, ensuring the timely reporting of KPIs and driving optimisation strategies
  • Utilising both internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights that inform and support strategic business decisions
  • Leading and mentoring a team of remote Research Analysts, ensuring the delivery of localised insights and cultural intelligence to enhance market-specific performance
  • Conducting competitor analysis and market benchmarking to anticipate industry trends and refine business strategies
  • Staying informed of industry developments, regulatory changes and emerging market opportunities, assessing their potential commercial impact on the business.
