Our client is a leading company in Malta. As they are expanding their operation, they would like to employ an Operations Manager who will be reporting directlyinto the General Manager
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining excellent client relations, planning and deployment of staff, and handling all day-to-day operational challenges to ensure that a great service is given by your team
You will be responsible for working closely and continuously collaborating with the other managers within the company, manage change in culture, collecting metrics and budget control
You will be reporting into the General Manager
You will lead, motivate, and support a team of supervisors within a demanding environment, including problem resolution
Ensure that the quality and service standards are effectively implemented and regularly revised to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction
Manage data collection for the updating of daily, weekly and monthly metrics
Build alliances and partnerships with clients by holding regular meetings with their respective top management and by serving as the primary point of contact when there are customer issues
Communicate all operating policies and / or issues at department meetings
Oversee materials and inventory
Assess and analysing operations departmental budgets to find ways to minimise expenses and optimise profits
Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
Monitor applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety, and ensures compliance
You will deputise for the General Manager in his absence
Skill-sets and Requirements
Experience in Operations Management
Proven leadership and management skills
Excellent organisation and coordination skills with a high attention to detail
Be a multi tasker
Experience with budgeting and forecasting
Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations
Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies
Demonstrated ability to foster a change in culture and processes
Have excellent communication skills
Education & Experience
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field
