Our client, operating in the Retail industry is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their growing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include supporting the day-to-day operations and strategic goals of the company. Responsibilities encompass various aspects of shop operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Support:

  • Support for Eware
  • Network assistance
  • Documentation of systems
  • Supervision of Power BI
  • Oversight of security and fraud prevention

ICT Communication:

  • Support for connectivity
  • Coordination with telecom (3rd Party Contractors)
  • Cash Management:

Control of cash

  • Supervision of fraud security
  • Management of cash, vouchers, and petty cash

Optimization:

  • Management of storage and inventory
  • Oversight of devices, keys, access cards, supplies (hardware, cash, stationary, health & safety, consumables)

Health & Safety:

  • Compliance with public health standards
  • Certification
  • Internal and external risk assessments
  • Incident management
  • Updating incident log
  • Identifying and addressing serious or imminent risks to employee health

Training & Awareness

  • Identifying internal and external training requirements
  • Scheduling annual preventive activities
  • Planning internal emergency procedures, contingency plans, and drills
  • Training in health and safety and emergency protocols
  • Compliance with preventive maintenance legislation

Policy and Procedure

  • Assisting in piloting and managing procedures and records for the internal health and safety management system ISO 45001
  • Overseeing and ensuring implementation of health and safety policy

Training & Development:

  • Overseeing training for devices, cash, and health & safety across the group
  • Ensuring correct usage of devices and high performance by team members
  • Training teams to troubleshoot basic system faults

 

Working Hours: Monday to Friday plus weekends on roster basis. 

 

Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Currently based in Malta
  • Valid driving license
  • Excellent multitasking skills and used to working in a fast paced environment
Education & Experience
  • Experience in a similar role would be required
  • Excellent level of English
