Crew Planner (Aviation)

Our client, a global aviation company, is recruiting for a Crew Planner to handle the planning and maintenance of monthly crew rosters. Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, your duties will include; 

• Planning and maintaing monthly crew schedules, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with regulations and company manuals.
• Managing crew manpower, forecasting optimal numbers, tracking attrition, and monitoring completion of training requirements.
• Coordinating crew annual leave to ensuring fair allocation and full utilization within the calendar year.
• Providing monthly reports on crew performance metrics.
• Collaborating with the Commercial department to evaluate future schedules and charter opportunities, considering crew impact and costs.
• Coordinating with accommodation providers for crew hotel arrangements.
• Monitoring flight operations, especially during adverse conditions, to anticipate delays or cancellations.
• Performing continuous auditing of flight coverage and crew schedules for legality and compliance.
• Notifying crew members of any schedule changes and ensure operational excellence.

• Previous consolidated experience on aviation crew roster management
• IT skills: Ms Word, Ms PowerPoint, Ms Excel, Ms Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills with strong attention to detail and disciplined
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with people from various cultures
• Be diligent, reliable, and independent
• Based in Malta

• A diploma level of education (Level 5) would be a minimum
