Logistics Coordinator

Job Description
Mint Health Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The chosen candidate will be assisting the Operations Manager and other members of the logistics department in the day-to-day general duties.

The main responsibilities include:

• To plan, organise and coordinate the shipping of products from suppliers, ensure timely and efficient delivery, and ensure qualified shippers are used
• To plan, organise and coordinate domestic bulky deliveries in support of active tenders and supplies to CPSU
• To maintain an effective flow of communication with warehouse personnel
• To ensure the correctness of shipping documentation and to liaise with suppliers if any information is missing or incorrect
• To liaise with the quality team when import permits are required
• To organise and maintain all shipping documentation for all active and historical shipments in the appropriate folders on SharePoint
• To input stock into the inventory management system timely after it is checked by store personnel
• To ensure that the Goods In procedure is accurately and timely followed in accordance with the established procedure, ensuring complete and accurate information
• To provide additional backup support to other departments, as and when required, including assistance during stock takes
• To coordinate with suppliers and insurance entities in the event of loss or damage to any shipped products
• To coordinate leaflet translation operations. Follow standard operating procedures, as well as GDP and company policies applicable to the job role
• Understand the GDP requirements and keep up to date with changes in regulations, laws, and guidelines
• Work as part of a team, participating in meetings and voicing concerns as well as suggestions for improvement
• Complete training and assessments as and when necessary
• Inform the RP of any pests or crawling insects, damage, or suspected falsified/counterfeit medicines
• Report any deviations from the procedures in place.                                                   

The ideal candidate must be:

• Able to communicate well in English
• Good organization skills
• Basic IT Skills.

Candidates with either of the below qualifications will be given preference:

• Advanced Diploma in Administrative and Secretarial Studies (Level 4)
• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Level 4)
