We are currently seeking a Sales and Business Development Specialist on a Full Time basis .  

The candidate will be required to build and strengthen business relationships within the Hospitality industry. 

Responsibilities

  • Creating development plans.
  • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels.
  • Engage and develop new distribution partners for continued expansion and growth.
  • Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships to promote the company.
  • Maintaining connections with key owners and agencies in the relevant geographic area.
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop strategies.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Following the market.
  • Preparing and negotiating designer and subcontractor agreements using company-approved processes and documentation.
  • Preparing financial projections and company targets.
  • Attending events such as industry outreach and informational conferences to gain local contacts and identify possible project work for the company.
  • Preparing presentations and participating in meetings.
  • Producing reports for management.
  • Upholding and living the values of the organization and industry.
  • To embody company values and ethics in all interactions with personal and professional contacts.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail. 
  • Must have strong computer knowledge with the use of various software programs including MS Office.
  • General knowledge of business law and legal ramifications with respect to subcontracts and procurement requirements.
  • Ability and desire to learn and apply new concepts, processes and approaches.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to new and challenging situations.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work with changing priorities.
  • Ability to review, analyse and assist in the creation and development of contractual documents and competently articulate requirements verbally and in writing.
