United Human Resources Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Sales and Business Development Specialist to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

The candidate will be required to build and strengthen business relationships within the Hospitality industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Creating development plans
  • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
  • Engage and develop new distribution partners for continued expansion and growth
  • Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships to promote the company
  • Maintaining connections with key owners and agencies in the relevant geographic area
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop strategies
  • Engaging with stakeholders to deliver results
  • Following the market
  • Preparing and negotiating designer and subcontractor agreements using company-approved processes and documentation
  • Preparing financial projections and company targets
  • Attending events such as industry outreach and informational conferences to gain local contacts and identify possible project work for the company
  • Preparing presentations and participating in meetings
  • Producing reports for management
  • Upholding and living the values of the organization and industry
  • To embody company values and ethics in all interactions with personal and professional contacts.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external customers
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Must have strong computer knowledge with the use of various software programs including MS Office
  • General knowledge of business law and legal ramifications with respect to subcontracts and procurement requirements
  • Ability and desire to learn and apply new concepts, processes and approaches
  • Must have the ability to adapt to new and challenging situations
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work with changing priorities
  • Ability to review, analyse and assist in the creation and development of contractual documents and competently articulate requirements verbally and in writing.
