UNITED HUMAN RESOURCES LTD in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Client Account Executive ( Sales and Business Development) to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our HR & Clients team as a Client Account Executive focussed on managing and retaining an existing client portfolio in addition to identifying and winning new business. This is the perfect role for an individual with a client-facing sales background with ambitions to flourish and further develop their career whilst opening the door to a myriad of opportunities in the future.

The core responsibilities include:

  • Preparing for sales calls including conducting research and building sales decks
  • Jumping on calls, sending pitches and closing new deals  
  • Following up promptly with the leads that HRs send over
  • Proactively managing the customer relationship post-sale including generating new referrals, spotting upsell and cross-sell opportunities and ensuring they don’t churn to other sources
  • Understand the features and benefits of the products and services that they are selling
  • Attending team and department meetings
  • Working with internal stakeholders to build out new features based on prospect and customer feedback
  • Onboarding new hires including junior account executives
  • Producing regular sales & performance reports.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior sales experience – Must have at least 5 years of sales experience and be comfortable negotiating high-stakes contracts (and renegotiating existing contracts)
  • Excellent listener – You will ask great questions to understand their prospects’ needs and then help them find the right solution. You will act as a consultant who will educate and inform your prospects rather than trying to hard sell them
  • Great communicator – You should be comfortable communicating on sales calls, leaving voice messages, writing emails, and giving in-person presentations
  • Self-awareness – You have high emotional intelligence (EQ) and are great at quickly building rapport and empathetic
  • Resilient – You are going to encounter rude prospects and hear a lot of “Nos.” Are they going to immediately shake it off and move on to their next call or sulk in the corner?
  • Curious – You will take the initiative to solve problems
  • Organized – You will be juggling multiple priorities, whether it is working to close deals in the sales pipeline, managing existing customer relationships, or assisting internal stakeholders with projects
  • Self-confident – You need to have the confidence to be able to chat with founders and C-level executives even if you are 30+ years younger
  • Self-motivated – Whether you are in back-to-back meetings, sending dozens of follow-up sales emails or just lost a big deal, you need to be able to motivate yourself through the ups and downs.
