Our client, specializing in offering IT solutions, is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the products, services, and solutions offered. Stay updated on the latest technology trends and product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs, propose appropriate solutions, and create compelling proposals. 
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients.
  • Analyse customer requirements and design customized IT solutions. Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, reliable, and align with customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to post-sale implementation.
  • Prepare detailed responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs). Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions. Provide feedback to the business development and marketing teams to enhance our offerings.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, including principal representatives, to ensure successful solution deployment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a presales or tech sales engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of servers, storage, backup appliances, networking solutions, and cloud solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to think strategically and creatively.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
