Job Role:

The Insurance Product Manager will support the Marketing Manager in leading and coordinating the development of new products and projects, collaborating with both internal and external entities to drive new business growth. 

Responsibilities:

1. FINDING THE PRODUCT 

• Collaborate with Country Managers to shape the product concept. 
• Participate in Local Committees and organize one-on-one sessions as needed. 
• Stay informed about market trends and performance. 
• Liaise with Market Research Analysts to generate new product ideas. 

2. DEFINING THE PRODUCT

• Review and ensure all necessary materials and information are in place for decision-making. 
• Align product goals with stakeholder expectations. 
• Challenge and refine product concepts as necessary. 

3. PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES

• Adhere to product development processes using management tools. 
• Plan key milestones and committee presentations with Country Managers. 
• Escalate issues and suggest improvements to procedures. 

4. FOLLOW UP / AUDIT TRAIL

• Participate in and support weekly meetings. 
• Maintain accurate records of progress and ensure product knowledge is comprehensive. 
• Make information accessible and communicate updates to all stakeholders. 
• Prepare monthly reports for various committees. 

5. RETURN OF EXPERIENCE

• Collaborate with Country Managers to gather product performance data from Banks. 
• Compare performance to business plans and diagnose areas for improvement. 
• Propose product enhancements as needed. 

6. BUDGETING

• Ensure the required budget is available for product/project plans. 
• Participate in weekly meetings with IT teams to represent Marketing and Commerce perspectives. 
• Share updates with the team and escalate delays or issues. 

7. BRAND LAUNCHES

• Prepare product concepts for brand launches. 
• Participate in meetings with brands and business units. 
• Develop and share materials with Country Managers and local entities. 
• Create presentations for brands/business units. 

8. SHARING OF BEST PRACTICES

• Propose successful products for adoption in other countries. 

Requirements:

• Degree in a related field (Business and Marketing). 
• Proven experience in product development and project management. 
• Strong understanding of market trends and performance metrics. 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and regions.
