Human Resources Executive

Medichem Manufacturing (Malta) Ltd is looking to recruit a Human Resources Executive. The selected candidate will report directly to the HR Business Partner and will be responsible for our company’s payroll processes, engagement of employees and interns and management of our training records. Additionally, the selected candidate will provide human resource support to all departments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation and processing of monthly payroll and handling of wage related queries.
• Maintaining of our time and attendance software.
• Managing all processes in relation to engaging and terminating employees.
• Preparation of vacancy adverts and any related internal notices.
• Managing the recruitment process for interns.
• Conducting induction training for all new employees and interns. 
• Coordinating learning and development initiatives and maintaining all our personnel’s training records.
• Upkeep of payroll and HR related reports.
• Overseeing daily operations of the HR department and providing HR related support to all employees.

The Position Requires:

• A minimum of two years’ experience working in a human resources and payroll environment.   
• An HR and Payroll related Diploma or certificate. As a minimum, one requires an ‘A’ Level standard of education.
• Good knowledge of HR and payroll policies and procedures. including awareness of local legislation.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Being proficient in English and ideally also in Maltese.
