DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our three unique restaurant outlets: Azure, the main hotel restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner; Ombre, our Café Bistro; and Carvv, our Steak House restaurant.

Reporting to the Food & Drink Leadership Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and driving profitability across all venues. This role requires a leader who can manage multiple teams, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations across three restaurant outlets, ensuring that all venues meet hotel standards for service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

• Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of restaurant staff, including F&D Attendants and hosts. Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing training to maintain high performance.

• Ensure excellent service in each restaurant by addressing guest needs and feedback promptly. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure guests leave with a memorable dining experience.

• Collaborate with the F&D leadership Team to monitor the financial performance of each restaurant by managing budgets, controlling costs and drive profitability.

• Manage inventory for food, beverages, and supplies across all restaurants, ensuring proper stock levels and efficient ordering processes.

• Ensure all restaurants comply with health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and local licensing requirements.

• Provide regular performance reports to senior management, including guest feedback, and operational challenges, with recommendations for improvement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.

• Excellent understanding of restaurant operations, including food service, guest satisfaction, and financial management.

• Ability to control costs and drive revenue growth.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and licensing laws.

• Experience in menu development and working closely with culinary teams is a plus

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
