We operate The Pergola Hotel & Spa and The Solana Hotel & Spa, the DOMS Boutique Hotel along with several bars, restaurants, and wellness centres in the North of Malta. Our diverse portfolio also includes property for resale and property rentals. We are a publicly listed company and have recently issued a bond under the name of G3 Finance PLC. The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of all aspects relates to food and beverage services with our hospitality establishments. The role ensures a commitment to a high-quality service, excellent customer satisfaction, whilst maximising profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in Menu Planning and Development liaising with the Executive Head Chef.

• Implement cost control measures to maximised profitability.

• Recruit and supervise the training of food and beverage staff.

• Conduct regular performance reviews of staff.

• Ensure high quality service and customer satisfaction.

• Address any complaints in a professional manner and effectively.

• Ensure customer service best practices are passed on to the junior staff.

• Oversee daily food and beverage operations, and general cleanliness of the dining areas.

• Enforce health and safety standards.

• Prepare budgets of food & beverage outlets. 

• Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure targets are met.

• Implement strategies to maximize profitability.

• Organising top-to-toe events and functions of our hospitability establishments.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

• Identify opportunities for improvement in service quality and operational efficiency, whilst staying updated with industry trends.

• Foster a positive team-work environment and implement best practices.

• Any other task that may arise in the running of the business that would fall under the remit of the Food and Beverage department.

• Possess strong leadership skills.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Able to work under high-pressure.

• A decision-maker to contribute to the overall success of the business.

• Experience in the same position is a must.
