Commis Chef

The Xara Collection in Malta is looking for a passionate Commis Chef to be part of their Kitchen family on a full time basis.

The group’s diversified portfolio comprises the award-winning fine dining de Mondion perched on Mdina’s bastions, the cozy al fresco Trattoria located in the palace’s courtyard but as well, catering services, and the Xara Lodge, an events center just outside Mdina. The common thread: we pride ourselves in featuring cuisine that is second to none and focuses not only on the quality of its dishes but as well on innovation and experience.

Our Commis Chef prepares, produces, and presents memorable meals for our guests, applying their energy and enthusiasm to every task, aiming to exceed our guest’s needs and expectations on a daily basis. 

About you:

As our ideal candidate, you will have a passion for hospitality and attention to detail 

You will have a minimum of one-year Culinary experience 

A good understanding and practical knowledge of cooking 

Commitment to teamwork and good communicational skills 

Energy and enthusiasm for learning and developing 

Ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment.
