Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize profitability and occupancy rates.
- Oversee the reservation department, ensuring efficient processes and exceptional customer service.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to inform pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create promotional strategies that drive revenue.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet financial goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Manage relationships with distribution partners and online travel agencies to optimize revenue channels.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on revenue management practices and systems.
- Prepare and present revenue forecasts and budgets to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in revenue management or reservations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management systems and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective pricing strategies.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
