Our client, a reputable group of companies in the hospitality, intellectual property, and construction sector is looking to recruit an Assistant F&B Manager to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible to:
Monitor and control expenditures to stay within budget, through regular analysis of costs and revenues;
Implement cost-saving measures, such as portion control and waste reduction, while maintaining quality;
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all F&B outlets to ensure consistency in service and quality;
Gather guest feedback through surveys, comment cards, and online reviews. Use feedback to make improvements and enhance guest satisfaction;
Train staff to anticipate guests' needs and preferences, offering personalized service whenever possible;
Equip your team with conflict resolution skills to address guest concerns promptly and effectively;
Hire individuals with the right skills and attitude, and provide comprehensive training to align them with the hotel's standards.;
Foster a positive work environment through open communication, recognition, and opportunities for professional growth;
Ensure new employees receive proper orientation and on-the-job training to set them up for success;
Provide regular training sessions to keep staff updated on best practices and new trends in the industry;
Offer constructive feedback and coaching to help employees grow and improve their performance;
Recognize and reward excellent performance to boost morale and motivation;
Set clear key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and guide improvement efforts;
Develop clear policies and procedures to guide operations and maintain consistency;
Hold regular meetings with staff to discuss performance, share updates, and provide training and support;
Ensure all F&B operations comply with local health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Requirements
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Guest-oriented and service-minded.
Must be mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative and an enthusiastic team player who displays good human relations skills.
Ability to meet financial targets and to work under pressure.
Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Education and Experience
Must have at least 2 years in a managerial role within a multi-outlet (minimum of 3/4), high-volume operation
Proven management experience in hotel operations within the food and beverage area is a must
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
