Our client, specialising in Aviation is seeking an Safety Manager to join their growing team. Responsible for the development, administration, and maintenance of effective safety management processes as part of the management system whilst reporting to the Accountable Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate the identification of hazards, conduct risk assessments, and manage risks effectively. 
  • Monitor the implementation of risk mitigation actions outlined in the safety action plan. 
  • Generate periodic safety performance reports for review by the safety review board.
  • Maintain a safety management documentation.
  • Ensure the availability of safety training programs that meet established standards. 
  • Initiate and oversee internal incident investigations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, to identify underlying causes and ensure the implementation of Corrective Actions (CAs) and Preventive Actions (PAs). 

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 0630hrs - 1500hrs

Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Hold experience related to aircraft maintenance, and demonstrates a working knowledge of the Regulation (EU) 1321/2014 Annex II (Part-145).
  • At least 2 years of experience in conducting tasks related to maintenance, continuing airworthiness management, or surveillance will be considered an asset.
  • Practical experience and proficiency in applying aviation safety standards, adhering to safe operating practices, and overseeing compliance monitoring systems.
  • Understanding of risk management and safety management principles.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in the aeronautical industry.
  • Excellent level of verbal and written English
Education & Experience
  • A relevant engineering or technical degree, or qualifications as an aircraft technician or maintenance engineer, supplemented by additional education approved by the competent authority.
