Environmental, Health & Safety Officer

Our client who specializes in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Officer. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

• Conduct regular Health, Safety and Environmental risk assessments
• Organise training of staff on Health, Safety and Environmental topics
• Assist in monitoring environmental activities, waste management and water treatment
• Updating, reviewing, and monitoring the Health, Safety and Environmental systems
• Carry out studies and research to identify possible improvement solutions to the Health, Safety and Environmental management system
• Assisting in maintain the IPPC permit and ISO 14001 Environmental Management standard

• A minimum of three years experience in EPHS or in a relevant area, preferably in a pharmaceutical/chemical environment.
• Being proficient in English and ideally also in Maltese
• A desire to further develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced business

• Minimum of a Degree qualification in a related area, a Masters degree will be considered as an asset.
