- Ensure Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety and Environment Regulations
- Identify training requirements of employees, subcontractors and regular clients
- Prepare, implement and regularly update risk assessments, safe work methods and procedures
- Maintain the Quality Management System and ISO 9001 Certification needs
- Act as the company's Quality ambassador
- Act as the technically competent person for the purpose of the company's Environment Permit
- Organise regular Safety Committee Meetings
- 3 years experience within a Health and Safety position is a must
- Proven track record in managing people is needed
- Knowledge of Maltese is preferred, however, proficiency in English is required - written and spoken
- Sound Computer skills
- Good communicator at all levels
- Analytical and a problem solver
- Able to stay calm in challenging situations
- Approachable with leadership skills
- Team player
- Based in Malta
- Health and Safety Nebosh Certification would be an asset
- Diploma level of Education or better required
