Operations Executive (Hospitality)

A well-established client of ours operating within Hospitality, is searching for an Operations Executive to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing strategies that will ensure a positive experience that exceeds guest's expectations 
• Working collaboratively with all department managers overseeing every aspect of a hotel to ensure smooth operations, anticipating all guest needs and respond promptly & accordingly 
• Reviewing employee behaviour, appearance, and performance, whilst establishing and maintaining standards for staff performance and customer service
• Planning and organizing the housekeeping and catering activities in a hotel 
• Maintaining full knowledge of all inner workings of the hotel, including room rates, hotel policies, specials, availabilities, VIP guests, hotel events, and more 
• Ensuring the hotel is staffed appropriately
• Conducting daily meetings to ensure that all departments are in working order

• Excellent command in English; Maltese is highly preferred
• Candidates must already be working and living in Malta, with the legal right of working in Malta
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and leadership skills
• High level of responsibility and accountability

• Prior local experience in F&B or hospitality management is mandatory
• In addition to the above, candidates with experience leading teams will be given preference
• Prior local experience in F&B within the hospitality industry is highly desired
