Chief Operating Officer(COO)

Our client is a household name on the Maltese Islands. They are seeking to recruit a Chief Operating Officer(COO) to join their team.

The Role

• You will oversee strategic and operational management for a large-scale system. This executive role focuses on optimizing efficiency, logistics, and regulatory compliance. 
• You will develop and implement strategies to enhance operational performance. 
• Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices is a key responsibility.
• You will collaborate with government entities, service providers, and industry partners. 
• Financial oversight includes budget management, cost control, and financial sustainability. 
• You will leverage technology and innovation to improve operational workflows.
• Supply chain and logistics management will be crucial for optimizing transportation and processing.
• Risk assessment and mitigation strategies will ensure adaptability and business continuity.

• Strong leadership skills are essential for building and guiding a high-performing team.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is required. Preference will be given to Engineering.
• Candidates must have proven extensive experience in operations leadership.
• Expertise in logistics, compliance-driven industries, or large-scale systems is a strong asset.
• The COO should demonstrate a proven ability to drive efficiency improvements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are necessary.
• Financial acumen and regulatory navigation expertise are critical for success in this role.
